Hubby and I like to make it a day for nurturing our relationship. It will always include time catching up on what's happened during the week. It might include sorting through an issue. We might stay home, read poetry, sing songs, or dance to music. One might give the other a massage. We might make love. We might go for a walk in nature, or cycling where there are beautiful views. Or might make a one hour trip to the coast to walk on the beach, eat a Tagliatelle Leone with a café laté and perhaps see a movie at the art cinema. Last night (our time is 10-12 hours ahead of the USA) we went to the house of an acquaintance to hear a performance of nomadic-folk-jazz fusion - six musicians playing clarinet, violin, bass, guitar, accordion, piano, and several types of percussion - brilliant music. We came home feeling high from the joy of it.
