Have you run out of fake injuries and fake illnesses when calling in sick to avoid going to work,

I've used every fake illness/injury in the book over the years to get out of going to work, but being a natural Blonde didn't bode well for me ....It's taken me years to realize that living with my boss had its down side and some how I always got caught ...:( 
But on the upside ,if I boxed clever ,I was allowed as many days off as I liked..... I'm quite a happy bunny really...hehe

I always had "stomach issues" and "I must have eaten something bad." My employers must have thought I was eating out of trash bins.

If I can come up with 12 year's-worth of questions, I think  I can handle at least as many lies to the boss man.

Actually, I never call in sick.  I just don't get sick.  I don't miss work.  I work my butt off and I am very disciplined about it.

I never give a reason why when I have called in. I just say the date and that I won’t be in today.  It’s my time and no one’s business why I need/want to be off. Unless it will be for an extended period of time. 

I know you said not serious answers but you’re not the boss of me. 

Over the past year I've far exceeded my leave limit, for very genuine reasons, which the HR in charge has overlooked, knowing well my reasons as well as my past leave record. To answer your question honestly, I did suggest some innovative and plausible excuses in my earlier years to some of my colleagues. One instance stands out, when the earlier HR head, still a very dear friend and confidante, herself consulted me in confidence. However, since I was elected to the Board of Directors a few years ago, such requests have virtually ceased, and such assistance as I gave them are now mere reminiscences.
