Not an entire day, but I do remember spending an hour or two at my dad's office. I mostly just played games on his second computer or drew pictures on the dry erase board in the conference room.
So many times with my dad on building sites and in his work shop that I've lost count... I still use his workshop when ever I want and if I'm not working I like to spend the day with him still making just about anything....:)
Yes. I was 7 or 8 when my great grandmother died, and my mother had to attend the ceremonies in a village about 300 km from our home. She was away for three days, during which time my father and I had each other to ourselves. He took me to his college those days, ands I sat in the staff room or library, reading or making friends with his fellow teachers and other office staff. I grew particularly fond of the librarian, who gave me a bar of chocolate every morning. She is alive, about 90, and I run into her and her daughter occasionally at the supermarket.
