Perhaps she has better things to do than play on here.  As do we all.  Isn't that right?

That doesn't describe me accurately. When I log on here, it's because I choose to and/or have set aside time to be here.  When I have better things to do than to log on here, I do not log on here.

No doubt.  But you are on here a lot.  Hard for me to believe you don't have things you would rather be doing.

I do have other things that I'd rather be doing. Sometimes. There ate are also times I'd rather be here doing this. I never come to AnswerMug when I need to be or have to be doing something else. For instance, even though I am on here a lot, during the hours that I'm at work, I don't participate in AnswerMug, and believe me, as a workaholic, I put in a lot of hours at work.

I don't understand---what or who is requiring you to be on answermug when you would rather be doing something else?

I believe that's the exact opposite of what I wrote. When I'm doing something that takes priority over being on AnswerMug, I don't log onto AnswerMug.  When I choose to be on AnswerMug, I do so voluntarily, no one requires me to, nothing requires me to.

Sorry, I didn't realize that what you said was not what you meant.

At which point did I wrote anything about anyone requiring me to log on here, please?

This sentence in your comment to officegirl was ambiguous:  I do have other things that I'd rather be doing.

To what other things does "that" refer to---and if if you are not required to be here, why were you not doing those other things instead?

The word that follows that sentence should answer your question, and if not, the next sentences. I have reiterated ad nauseum in this thread that when I want to come here, I do.  When I'm doing something else that take precedent, I don't.
I believe you must have misconstrued my words completely if you took them to mean that I consider myself required to be here, especially if you didn't take the entire context of the posts.

Since the word was not attached grammatically to either the first or second sentence by either a dash or comma, the syntax did not form the correct gestalt in my mind.

Your clarification is clear, however; and that is the important thing. This post was edited by tom jackson at June 3, 2019 8:17 PM MDT

I have been wondering about her, too. I miss seeing her. I hope she's OK.

Have you checked your basement? Sometimes you forget who's down there.

SHHHHHHHH!  Don't you realize how many police detectives peruse websites like this one daily?  They might not think you're just kidding, and the next thing I know, there's yet another search warrant with my address on it!  Grrrrrrrr.

Police detectives? How about FBI, HLS, ATF, NSA, KGB, MI6, CIA, DEA, NCIS...etc?

I know...you are not cognitive of such things. Those are Vegemite buds...they make great cookies. Especially with soy milk and kale.
