What do you miss the most about your home when you are away for an extended period of time?

    (Which is why I was so disappointed to arrive at home that day last month to find that you had escaped from the basement and called the police. All that police tape everywhere, the evidence technicians and photographers trampling my rosebushes and tracking mud throughout the house, the box-loads of my property being carted away, sigh.  I didn't mind the tightness of the handcuffs as they dug into my wrists, but was all that interrogation really necessary? By the way, I haven't yet been informed that you explained to them it's a simple misunderstanding, nor have you posted bail for me. If there's much more delay, I'm afraid I don't know when you and I will see each other again. Well, I have to go now; Bubba doesn't like it when I write to you during shower time.  Speaking of which, when are you going to send me that soap-on-a-rope that I asked you for?  Either that or some bandages . . . )

    Oh gosh Randy, you know what?  I was kind of snooping around your house when you were out of town and while I was down in your basement I let Jaimie out so umm, don't know what to tell you other than I let Jaimie out and also those doughnuts in that plastic thingy were really stale.

  • Mainly my cozy bed. I sleep better at home than anywhere else. It's fun to be away from home, but not for too long. Eventually I start to miss things. The bed seems to come first, but I miss the bathroom too lol, and just the familiarity of it. It's good to feel that way, though. Some people don't have something they want to go back to.
