Is it true that to become an Australian citizen, you must eat an entire jar of Vegemite?

    Nope.
    And there are lots of Aussies who dislike Vegemite.
    I don't mind a very thin smear on toast with butter if someone offers it but I don't keep any in the cupboard.
    Americans buy far more Vegemite than Aussies do.
    It's now manufactured only in America by an American company and exported to Australia. 
    I find that ironic.
    The same thing happened to Arnott's biscuits and several other Aussie food manufacturing companies.

    To become a citizen a migrant must have arrived with a visa and lived lawfully in Australia for at least one year.
    You also have to pass English language and Australian citizenship tests.

    I really admire the fact you have to pass an English Test and an Australian citizenship test not to mention lived lawfully.
