    purrr-rrrr-rrr-rr-r-rr-rrr-rrrr,
rumble, rumble, rumble, I'm in deep bliss here, please keep going purr,
plaintif squeek of a meow, which if not attended to escalates to
    demanding food meow,
questioning meow, what are you up to now?
    hello meow,
YEEOW!!! How dare you tread on my tail! (middle of the night in the dark- human walking to the toilet).
    purrr-rrrr-rrr-rr-r-rr-rrr-rrrr, that's OK you're forgiven.

    * "Me-at!" Translation - where did you go without me?
    * gurgle, gurgle (his tummy 24/7)
    * "Hmmph... hmmmph!!!... Hmm-ack! Ackk! Akkkkk!!!"  (3 times in a row) - hairball
    * "MEAHHH!!  MEAHHH" (at 90 decibels) - it's 5 am why aren't you up yet
    * "Now" - now!!!
    * "enh.. enh... enh" - snoring
    * Mrrrow - get me my fish
    * (Mrrrow now - get me my fish NOW!)
    * "mh?" - what or who me (depending on context)?
    * The sound of a rotary engine - how he "sings" himself to sleep
    * "Rahh hemm armahh!" - how dare you leave and not tell me first!
    * "Meow" - the dog showing he can speak cat (only the dog says meow)

My dog makes all the regular dog sounds plus sometimes when I goof around with him I can get him to sound sort of like Astro on the Jetsons cartoons. A few days ago I saw a video of a parrot in the UK that says - Trump's a wanker - and I'm going to see if I can teach him to say that. Cheers! Every morning it goes to a tune something like this:
    "sssshhhnnnoorrrre, sssshhhnnnnooorrree, SNORT!"
    rumble, rumble, rumble, hmmmmmm.
AAAahhhhhhhhhh accompanied with a big stretch and yawn.
Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump.

    Pssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.

Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump.

"Good Morning.  Thank you honey for the coffee." Followed by the sound of a soft morning kiss.

He's a good man, he is.  I wouldn't trade him in for the world.

Our 15 pound dog used to sleep under our bed.  As she got older, her skin started drying out and would itch.  There were many nights when I was awakened by her, "Chomping, snorting and slurping."

You say, "used," which leads me to believe deceased.
I would like to add, any dog that lives that long shows he/she lived and wanted to live a long and happy life.
Even though you don't get that "Chomping, snorting, and sluping," sound to be irritated or concerned about, you raised a good pooch who lived a happy life. :) :)

Yes we did.  She was a good dog.  We buried her ashes under the Cedar tree in the back yard where she used to rest.
