Ten years. If I was younger, I would wait much longer. But, I need the ability to live long enough to at least pass it on in a will or maybe I'll just wait 5 years and retire from this rat race and move to India. yeah. I'll do that. Five.
I would absolutely LOVE to come visit you in India. I don't know if I could live there but I would Adore seeing it. May I invite myself? Just for a short little visit? I don't take up much room and I'll supply food for all and drink and will work, happily, if need be. :)

The best way to do that might be to move out of the states. You know, some guy got in trouble for trying recently in Alabama. (I think that was the state. Don't quote me on that part, please.) They will find a way, somehow, to get cha. If there isn't already a law, they will invent one, especially for you. (squinting eyes and frowning...)

Yeah, from what I've learned, it seems New Zealand is very tiny-home friendly. The landscape is very diverse, from beautiful shorelines to big mountains, which is everything I love. It would be perfect for me :)
I would need to make a spreadsheet and calculate it with all the variables, like interest rates and my life expectancy. But, the quick answer is: until I think of something I want to buy with it and then I would wait until I had the needed amount.
Gee, what a great plan, Sweetie. A nest egg like that would finance a perfect little hideaway for two, I love the way you think! I can be packed in no time!
