Maybe someone stole their horses which would mean they will probably never get them back because their old motto of We Always Get Our Man is just a joke these days. Not all cites in Canada use RCMP and some of the cites that do use RCMP are thinking of replacing them with City cops or Provincial police. Because it would save a lot of money on wages - RCMP get paid way more then city or provincial police. Cheers!
Did you not see? The horses created a union. For years the horses had to carry the men. They feel with the changing times, this should change too. It is time the men carry them.

That's pretty impressive some of the vid looked like he must be lifting a thousands pounds. Might be kind of crazy too - got to be hard on the body especially the car part. They are mounted in Horseless carriages to catch the miscreant speeder, more efficient for the most part. Other areas they use boats, helicopters, and Dog Sleds
Just north of Glacier going over to Vancouver they still are mounted on horses as are the US Border Patrol, US Local Sheriffs etc. The border up there is wild and also sensor-ed a million ways from Sunday. That is why most smugglers etc use helicopters for quick drop and scoots
