Only when you don't trim your nose hairs and get real close to the flame.

  • No idea what kind of ducked up candles you are using, but generally they don't even remotely smell like burning hair.

  • Ohhhhh.  My bad, I'm used to jokes having a punchline or some sort of irony or possibly clever word play.

Only if you have a hairy nose and, to smell the flame, bring your nose too close to it.

I do notice that. And when I put the flame out, it always smells like burning skin.

I have one inherited from my grandmother.
I find the only smell from the snuffed candle is that unpleasant smoke of paraffin wax -
it gives me the yuk idea of petrochemical molecules getting down into my lungs.

My wife burns the scented ones to mask MJ smell. To put them out, merely put the lid on.

Only if it is a vegemite candle.

Ours actually smell even worse in these Candle Stores over in the US.  They smell like a headache.  They smell like SWEET fake caramel.  UGH.  TOO RICH and headachy.

I know exactly what you mean - those scented candles.
They smell make me feel like vomiting.
Don't know how anyone can make a buck from them -
unless there's a lot of people out there whose noses have become desensitised by city smog.
