Would you date someone who has never been in a relationship?

(Assuming you and the other person are both single adults and are roughly whatever age you are now.)

    Ha!
    Pretty much.
    Yup.
    :)

I admit I then immediately saw Walt's following post -- both of you made me smile

Yes, except the guy who wears his pants under his armpits (like a lot of older men).

Heck, yes. I would get someone with no baggage, no expectations and who would not need to be re-trained.

(((((Darling, you realize that counts me out completely, don't you?  Perhaps you're not feeling too well or you spoke too soon. I'll just wait here quietly while you retract your mistaken statement. Right here, off to the side. WAY over here, giving you time to gather your thoughts. Not rushing you, not crowding you or anything like that. Just looking on silently, checking every few seconds to see when you've posted it. An apology, a mea culpa, a pardon me, something along those lines. Nothing extensive nor in depth, a phrase or two will do fine. Retracting the words. Reversing the error. Erasing the goof. Maybe I need to click the refresh button. Ah, there we are, ok now to check for an update. Gee, I don't see it, hmmmmm, I wonder why?  I'll log off and then back on. Brb!)))))

Jane?  Jane who?  I don't even know a woman named Jane. She's probably some mixed up kid, she might be one of them in my fan club or maybe she's a groupie, but I don't know her personally. Come on, Sweetie, are we going to go through this all over again?  I tell you these one-nighters are meaningless to me, that you're the only one who truly matters. Not that I had a one-nighter with this imaginary "Jane" person, but even if I had, do you think she could make sandwiches better than you make them?  Now be a dear and go dust the tilde vault while I pop out to the corner store for a pack of cigarettes. No, no, I don't smoke, but I still need to step out for an hour or two. Don't wait up!

Jane is the name on the restraining orders you've been disregarding. I'm sure you recall me.

(((((SHHHHH!  Don’t you understand that I had to say those things to throw her off, Sugar-Booger?  Listen, as soon as I can calm Jaimie down, I’ll slip away and you and I can finally have some quality time together. I’m doing this all for us, sweet cheeks. Patience, please.))))

You've been counted out for a lot of other reasons as well. Go ask Jaimie for a sammich and quit bothering me.

I've been married for four years and I don't remember thinking the amount of my husband's previous relationships were ever an issue but if I were still single I hope it wouldn't be an issue because I guess that would make it a pretty hopeless catch 22 to be caught in.

    Sure.
"baggage" wouldn't be the issue, because I don't date until after I've known the person a while.

I don't have it in me to start one of those again. This means that I die very alone.

  • The idea of defiling a fresh slate is intriguing but the chances are she's a wicked prude.  I'm conflicted
