That's when he was good before he went on the Donald Trump diet and the cholesterol clogged his brain.

    Christina Perri    "Jar of Hearts"

     - The first time I heard this song was on my car radio and I was driving on a country road. I literally pulled over to the side of the road and stopped the car to listen --  gorgeous song and voice to me.

(the background dancers in the music video almost ruin the whole thing -- the choreography is SO over-the-top to the point of silliness to me)

After hearing this song, I bought two of her albums - - I really like everything of hers I've heard. I love her voice, truly.
    :)

    Tattoos are OK with me.

I like her too....I find tattoos so distasteful,it's against nature and you're scared for life...one cannot ever improve on what nature took millions of years to create...lol

    Very talented woman.
    I love holiday music and

She sings one of my favorite modern Christmas songs.

Welby, this song is a big favorite of big talent shows like The Voice and America's Got Talent.  I never knew who the original singer was till you started posting her every now and then.

    I like it.

I admit I rarely, if ever, watch those types of shows, so I've only heard Perri sing it.
    :)

    Christina wrote this song, too.
    I like her a lot.

T'Pau did Heart and Soul. I had a crush on Carol Decker when I was in my teens.

Huey Lewis and the News also had a hit song called Heart and Soul.  Different song entirely, same title. I love both that one and the T’Pau one too. Long live the eighties!

    (Got lovin’ every night . . . )

Rick Springfield also had another great song that fits this category: Affair of the Heart.

“But don't try to tell me you think it's all physical,
It goes much deeper than that,
    You ought to know
It‘s an affair of the heart, oh yeah, it’s an affair of the heart. . . “
