Can Y'all Give An Example Of A "Plurale Tantum"? I'll start...PANTS

A plurale tantum (Latin for "plural only", plural form: pluralia tantum) is a noun that appears only in the plural form and does not have a singular variant for referring to a single object.

    That doesn't make glasses less of a plural tantum.  Regardless.

    Just because another word describes  eyewear with a single lens, it doesn't matter.  Scissors have singulars too.  I call them knives.
