I am very far from what I consider complacent or content.
Right now I am a little bit of crazy in all areas.
I would like to have many pieces of my life's puzzle fall into place, immediately. Until they do, I will not be content.
I do dream of the day my money makes money. I won't have to worry about bills, can travel worldwide at free will, and/or sit on a raft in my pool, watching the days drift by. Until then, I will not be content.

When I wrote my answer, I thought someone would might say something to that extent. According to the dictionary, you are correct. In my mind, they are pretty much the same. The only time I see a person content is when they are completely happy with themselves, their surroundings, and their life. They have no need or desire to change anything and are content with everything. They freely float through their life and well that they should. I will modify my answer. :) :)
I am content only for about an hour sometime during the day every day but I guess that is good enough. Might only be 5 minutes at a time that will add up to a total of one hour anyway.
