What is one of your favorite movies wherein ALL of its plot* takes place in 24 hours or fewer? ~

*ALL of its plot means that from the beginning of the movie until the end of the movie, the events on the screen do not exceed 24 hours. That excludes from consideration any movies that portray flashbacks depicting other events outside of that one day period.

Flint Ironstag already nailed my answer, too. It is my favorite movie of all movies.

    "Night of the Living Dead"

    Such a funny movie!!
    :)

I love the scene  ( I tried to find it and post it but couldn't describe it correctly or the scene isn't in youtube) where the stewardess, at night (I think), while the plane is taking off, is running on the airstrip, beside the plane and waving goodbye to her boyfriend pilot. And she keeps running into and knocking over signs or something like that.

  • Most of the Porn movies I watch take place in less than 24 hours.

Honestly most of them take place in less than 24 minutes.  LOL!

Another answer. I have seen a few movies that took less than 24 hours to film. They were all about a group of friends hiking and camping, then finding a run-down cabin in the forest.

It doesn’t matter to me whether you delete it or not, it’s your answer, not mine. I’ve already responded as I saw fit. If, however, you decide to post a question about the filming of a movie in 24 hours or less, feel free.

"American Grafitti" yes, "The Longest Day" no.

The latter takes place over a time period several days, beginning with decisions about when to launch the assault based on optimum weather conditions.

True, but the assault itself took place on 6/6/44, and it's too great a film not to mention. Perhaps a bit of literary license on my part.

Go exercise your license in a post of your own. If it doesn't fit the category,it doesn't fit the category, as simple as that.

    It's a dead heat between:

Winter Light (Swedish - takes place in one afternoon)

    Jagte Raho (Indian)

But wait . . . does Groundhog Day count? I suppose it depends from whose perspective we measure time.
