Sure we do. It snowed outside the hospital my daughter was born in, the day after she was born. Katoomba - they get snow about 2 months a year at altitudes above 1000m. A light dusting, at least.
The snow plow drivers start plowing before the roads are impassable and keep plowing in increments so that the roads do not have to be shut down. They get to work before the snow is really heavy in order to accomplish this.
Generally when snow is forecast they are scheduled to be at the Garage before the snow hits. The get the trucks. They athen given the word to go out and make the streets clean
Around here they do go out early with solutions of calcium/magnesium acetate or calcium chloride that they apply in stripes on the major highways. It is a pre-treatment to keep ice from forming, which makes it easier to plow.
When it's Freezing here where I live ,I go out with rubbing alcohol to see if that helps a bit.....personally I don't thing it does and I often go home reaking of the stuff....:(
One cable show about guys who actually plow those roads showed him arriving to work in his personal truck---and yes there was plenty of snow on the ground where the plows were parked.
They make me walk to work in front of their vechicles to get to there work snow ploughs cuz I'm so dam (((((HOT))))). I'm am also good at road parties at breaking the ice abd getteing things going........:)D
You do bring a warmth to any question that might possibly go cold. For that, I grant you the glass slipper which will turn into any shoe of your choice. I will throw in the left shoe to match this one. I know this shoe has traveled many miles to answer many questions.
Do you have a preference of shoe attire?
