I taught myself how to do dry-walling, plumbing, electrical and other valuable skills because of a genuine need based upon where and how I live.

I have taught myself many things. Appliance repair, electrical work, riding a bike, sports, getting away with mischief, pleasing a woman.

I was the neighborhood showoff. I started out doing bicycle wheelies. (wheelstands) Then I advanced to motorcycles. The local fairgrounds had a daredevil motorcycle show. I won the wheelie contest. ($100)  Then I learned to ride the motorcycle while standing on the seat and no hands on the controls. I quit doing that after a guy I knew was killed while trying to ride his motorcycle while standing on the seat with no hands. Then I learned how to stand on the front wheel of a parked motorcycle with no hands on the controls. This move was made famous by the Honda trials rider, Sarah Evans.

So I come from a family of wall paper hangers and house painters. I never learned it. Anyway, my sister hired my uncle to hang wallpaper in her new house. He put it on UPSIDE DOWN! Doh!
