Some I know do. Putting on their hat is part of their morning routine... Wash face, brush teeth, brush/comb hair (if applicable), put on ballcap.

  Lots of American men do not wear baseball caps. If you do not know of any, if you only know of American men who do wear them, it certainly doesn’t mean you know of all American men, heck, it might even mean that you only know of a small number of American men.

I believe I qualified my statement with the " I do not know any..."  meaning American men who I know.  I did not state that I know every American man nor did I mention any foreign men at all.

  Who stared stated that you mentioned foreign men?

  So do you mean that every single American man you know wears a baseball cap, without a single exception?  Does that include every American man you have ever known since the day you were born?  Not only does that seem far fetched, it also seems difficult to verify, either by you as its claimant, or by anyone else who might qualify its validity.

I have more than six men in just my close famliy. By "know" I mean people I enough that I would know them by name, enough that I can talk to them about more than just the weather. Not just a person I may recognize.
