I'll add to that: the entire hype surrounding that movie, not just Hank's performance in it. I remember when it first came out, a lot of people who saw it gushed, "You have to see this movie, IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!" I went to see it, meh. It's a movie, people! Nothing more than that. It's no big #@*•¥ing deal! Grrrrrrrr. ~
The word f***. It is so overused and over-rated, soon it will no longer be a curse word. We won't have to put the asterisks in for the uck. It definitely lost its meaning. Now-a-days it is just as common as b****. Which also lost its meaning.
Guys wearing pants 1/2 way down their butts.
All the movie ratings. They are so off it is pathetic.

Most all big brand products that are over advertised , I find if things are good they tend to sell them selves . Things are designed now to last a tad longer than there garentee period and then it's tough luck to all the Mugs that brought their crap the've made abd sold....:(
I have a Zenith TV that is about 40 years old. I've never had a minute's trouble with it and it still works just fine. There is no TV made today that will last that long. Same with my Farberware toaster that is almost 50 years old. My sister has gone through five toasters in less time.
I can only agree with you....Buy any new car at your peril ...Electrical faults are the worst to find and the tiny parts cost rediculous amounts of money...often it's cheaper to scrap the car than to repair it... If you have a new fridge and it goes wrong ,they can't be repaired any more, you just have to buy a new one... They purposely make things irreparable now
I've been lucky with my cars. I don't drive that much, so after 12 years, I gave my Nissan Sentra to my niece. She did have to fix something to do with the air pollution thingamajig, but hell - after 12 years, that was all.
You won't get cheap fixes on any new cars now...more so with all electric cars....For the last ten years on lots of cars made you can get a 25,000volt fatal electric shock just from changing a headlight bulb... In England the Fire service guys that attend all serious vechile crashes and cut people from their cars . They have to call in specialists to make hybrid and all electric vechiles safe.. The batteries in electric cars are so dangerous ,no one yet says anything about this next generation of polution ,most likely in a few years time ,they will be banned to...
I don't believe I would buy an electric/hybrid car. There are not very many places to recharge the batteries and while I understand that they run on gasoline, too, that seems to defeat the purpose. My car is 6 years old and only has a little over 41,000 miles on it. I'm 74 - this might possibly be the last car I have to buy. :)
There are plenty of places to recharge here in Englsnd...there are also more and more all electric cars to....they can do 350 miles on one charge, When you buy a new car now ,it comes with so many gismos's that you'd never ever use..
I only use the steery thing, the stoppy thing and the thing that makes it go faster... :)
New cars loose their value so quickly ,the first year the devalue the most..just by driving if out of the show room loose's a few thousand pounds
I agree there are a lot of features that I will never use. I have never used the CD player. My car can be hands-free for phone calls, but my ancient phone is not compatible with that feature. I have cruise control which I think I may have used twice and I don't think I've ever used the second gear of drive.
Preface drugs with the word "recreational". Many people alive today would be dead in the absence of medicinal drugs prescribed by a physician. Including me.
