Is amazeballs from the 2010's? Seems like it's older than that.
I've not heard 'doggo', which seem odd because I LOVE DOGS!!
I can't decide which is the worst. Either bae or on fleek.
I've never really understood the 'dank' thing. Is it good or bad?? The actual word 'dank' means old and musty. But dank weed is awesome weed. So confusing.
I wonder what lovely sh it the next decade will bring!
I got the list off Twitter so it has to be true :) it does seem older though. Doggo Is super annoying, especial when grown as’ adults use it. I HATE IT and I love dogs too. I can’t decide which one is the worst either. probably “bae” for me.
I guess 'doggo' is derived from the term 'kiddo', which I happen to think is an annoying way of describing children. I'll continue to call dogs 'puppies' or 'pup-pups' because I want to.
Totes is pretty gross lol. I’ve never actually heard the term “adulting” used in real world so maybe that’s why I don’t find it overly annoying. it seems to be an internet thing. I’ve heard “totes” enough that I find it vomit inducing.
I just wish to add that I don't know the meaning of any of those sayings that are now in the dustbin of history.
I do not ever want or need to know any of them. I think I know what ADULTING means, but I don't want to be sure. I want it erased from my psyche, like We're PREGNANT.
That was the worst. I don't know what year it came out but it is old and never should be used ever.
I can't stand the term "It blew my mind," or "Mind blown." I also can't stand the overuse of the filler word "like." I don't like the word "sick," when used as slang to mean something "cool." But out of the list you have given, I'd choose "amazeballs," and "yolo," I haven't heard of the others in the UK.
Bae. I only had to tell him once to never call me that. He thought it was short for baby. I had no idea what it meant but it was stupid-sounding and I wanted no part of it.
I don't know what your fam means. I have used the term fam for family for 50 years. Not new.
