Not quite. East Coast Australia is about 10 - 13 hours ahead of the States, depending on longitude and Summer Time shifts. It's 4.30 in the afternoon of New Year's Eve here. I thought for some of you it would be somewhere before or after midnight and coming into the 31st of Jan - a good moment to send New Year Wishes to my friends.
For Twinkle, please send my warmest Happy New Year wishes to Goatie.
More than that, Australian Eastern Daylight savings time is 19 hours ahead of Pacific standard. 5pm in Sydney is 10pm yesterday in Los Angeles. Sydney is 10 hours ahead of Greenwich, London, England. I think OH is an hour ahead of CA (correct me if I'm wrong, E, I'm not sure where US time zone boundaries are), but at the time he posted - yes, it's tomorrow.
