Trump is doing a big favor for america

I mean, he's getting rid of the 'multiculturalism' agenda , and socialism and all that bullcrap.

Remember when he 'almost' wanted to deport immigrants to their countries ?

I tell ya many were in big fear at that time

    "The 'multiculturalism' agenda"
You are a Canadian. Not only a Canadian but based upon your  'odd' grammatical structure, English is your second language and you are Québécois... Yes?
Canada is riddle with "Multi-culturalism" and enjoying socialist national healthcare.

I for one cannot wait to hear the collective groans and wails oozing from the northern border when you have to pay an average of +$10000 a year for healthcare. That would be in US dollars... not loonies

I'm curious how you... how do you know you know about this "Fear" you speak of? What is your source?

Trump does no favours for America - quite the reverse and on so many levels. America was founded on immigrants.. and they continue to be a big part. It's just that some immigrants are less welcome than others.

Canada is more welcoming of immigrants... and they can afford to be..

    We have "legal" immigration.

Obama did not have  cities and courts fighting him from removing criminals.

And no his number were not higher than Bush or Clinton:

    My chart is accurate.

I know Trump's numbers are lower. I also told you why. Obama/Bush/Clinton did not have sanctuary cities/states to fight with. Or illegals who have been coached to claim assylum to slow up the process.

Your Canadian opinion is out of order. It would be like me saying Justin Trudeau is bad for Canada. Also, what is your question?

If not for the hard working immigrants, America would not be a world power.  America was built by immigrants and, for the most part, they still make contributions to this country.  We read about the bad ones who come here with their hands out for freebies, but I'm willing to bet that most immigrants want nothing more than to work to support their families and give them a better life than wherever they left.  It's easy to blame immigrants for taking what they may not have earned, but there's a percentage of Americans who do the same thing, but since they were born here, no one says boo.

We need to secure the border. Deport criminals and then we can figure how to give the rest  legal status.

The biggest favor he could do for the US and the world is to leave the office He stole.
WE need someone that will deal with Global warming NOW.
All Trump does is to deny it is happening, putting all into deeper peril.
So you do not enjoy many races and cultures living together?
You would prefer a white America like your pal Trump? Sad...

I don't think getting rid of multiculturalism is something he or any other politician can actually do because multiculturalism is one of those words that's kind of hard to define and can be made into anything people want it to be so American conservatives can make it into a boogeyman.  I really haven't heard any American liberals say multiculturalism a whole lot, they seem to like the word diversity instead so I guess multiculturalism is just a word American conservatives say to get a reaction out of people on their side.  American liberals and American conservatives are really easy to spot because they both have their own little languages so if someone says diversity like it's a good thing they're probably a liberal and if someone says multiculturalism like it's a bad thing they're probably a conservative.

Anyway, USA has had immigrants and descendants of immigrants from all different cultures for most of its history so that's probably never going to change.

The people who he wanted to deport were people who weren't here legally and that's a lot of people.  If he wanted to deport immigrants (permanent residents and naturalized citizens) I don't think anybody would ever go for that.

"USA has had immigrants and descendants of immigrants from all different cultures for most of its history"

    Hence, multiculturalism or diversity.
Yep...you're spot on the money, Livvie

I'd kind of like for Franc to jump back in the discussion and define multicultural agenda.  I thought it was an interesting question because he's a Canadian from Quebec asking about USA politics but he's also good at using American political talk which is putting agenda after something to make it a pejorative, i.e. the homosexual agenda that my right-wing Uncle Bob likes to talk about.  So, nothing wrong with homosexual but put the word agenda after it and nobody really knows what that means but it just turns it into something dark and scary I guess.  Nothing wrong with multicultural by itself but put the word agenda after it and it becomes something evil and shadowy.

Hah!  That depends upon the providence.
They all spell it "Favour" except in Quebec, then it's "Faveur".
Being from New Hampshire, I've had to tolerate those Tourtière-eating monsters.
