  • I was cleaning out my purse when I asked this, I think I had receipts in there going back at least a year.

I try to keep my purse neater than my apartment, so I throw out or file away receipts when I get them.  The dust bunnies - not so much. :)

It's a prepaid debit card so I don't have to use my regular bank card for anything like going to the store or shopping online.  I only put the amount of money I plan to spend on it so I don't have to worry about my bank card number getting stolen.

I don't have any actual credit cards and I don't plan on applying for any but my hubby does have credit cards so we can still do stuff that requires them like renting cars when we go on vacation.

We have both Sam's Club and Costco in the US so Sam's Club is Costco's competitor but a lot of the stuff in Sam's Club seems to be cheaper than the things Costco sells.

  • I don’t think we have Sams club here. I have a Costco membership because it’s one of the perks the company I work for pays for it‘s employees. but I find no use for it really for just myself.

We still have Sam's Club for pretty much the same reason.  It was a benefit from the last company where my husband worked before he became self employed but after he left he kept the Sam's Club membership.

No.  There are different companies but similar business model.  Costco sells, in my opinion, better quality products and of course is more expensive.  Some of the offerings are identical though.  I hold cards for both of them.

  • I see, I’ve never been to a Sams club but I somehow new it was similar to Costco. Not sure how I knew that, must have read it online somewhere.

I never touch her purse or any woman's purse.  That is a Pandora's Box to the innocent Male.  So I am always endeavoring to save the world from Chaos.......

  • I use them as little as possible.  I just need the checkbook to balance the debit card account. :)
