Its nice if you get back what you give ,but as my dad once told my mum ,it's far better to recieve than it is to give .....so he has to give her all his money and he gets a far better deal in return if you ask me...

YES!!! Things of beauty they are. Every time you glide into a room with those adorning your feet I let out a gasp. Trust me honey bunny, I'm still able to gaze with fascination at both your shoes AND my money. lol
If you please your companion, are you doing it for a boon? Some spiritual boon that will get you straight to heaven? Or perhaps you want him to treat you in like kind? In other words, you want something. Just as selfish as pleasing yourself.
So, if you can love and not be attached to the outcome, then you are doing it right.
