Why do you think so many people are too lazy to cook?

I've thought the exact thing about ME. :)

I'd do well to cook more but I guess I choose to devote more time to other things and pop in a Smart Ones frozen at supper. (Apples for breakfast and salads for lunch; those probably don't count as cooking.)

Throwing something in the crockpot takes about the same effort as the microwavable meals... i like those sometimes though.

VERY true about the crockpot! Thanks for the reminder. I used to use mine a lot. I could do it again.

I cook all my food except holiday events. The food I eat is generally simple stuff that you just heat up. Sometimes I fry eggs or fish.

Yes they are.... there is a reason there are usually long waits at crappy restaurants.

Well, I only go to good restaurants, so I wouldn’t know.

    McDonald's & Hardee's aren't considered "good restaurants"

Blegh, I wouldn’t set foot into those places if you paid me.

  • Too busy using work as an excuse. I don’t exactly love to cook, but I love the results.

Most of my friends like to eat home-cooked food, as do I.  I just like fresh, pure, wholesome foods.  Nothing fancy.

Their energy levels are low from eating over-processed foods loaded with sugar and chemicals.

Those that choose not to cook are most likely on Cold Turkey for a change....:)D

In my case, I don't enjoy cooking and the cleanup afterwards.  Since I'm single, it doesn't pay for me to dirty up pots, pans and dishes just for myself, so I either pick up something on my way home from work or pop a frozen dinner in the microwave.

I got the gonna cook something new and exciting bug a couple of weeks ago.  Bought all the
ingredients and made a couple of things I really liked.  Now I have left over ingredients I won't use for anything else for a long time. A waste of money.  I should have gone to a restaurant, it would have been cheaper.
