Why....my son dared me.When... about 10 years ago.Where...staring 15,000 feet down, on an airplane, getting ready to jump. Regrets ....none.  Sky diving was a pretty awesome experience.

I had good intentions of doing laundry.  Even made it to washer.  My sister called and wanted to go to the pool. When put to the test, that's when you excel.  Growing up I had a hard/miserable life and survived with  strength I didn't even knew I had.

Alf, and I'm the opposite. I wouldn't mind if tomorrow were my last day.  Wonder what makes us different ?

My prayer is that I die on the day I no longer can care for myself.  No matter my age.

People can be so rude as to leave their home when your out and about.  I got the memo and stayed home.

I've known so many phonies from AB and the hurt they have caused others that I didn't trust this person until we met and she was exactly who she claimed to be.  She restored my faith.

Sadly, yes.  My husband was my rock.  Missing him every second is worse than the day he passed.  I was so lucky to be so loved.

It was.  Being alone was new to me because there was always someone around...husband, kids.  I needed time to figure out who I was without him. I still don't know but I've managed to enjoy the solitude.  It was years later before I was lonely for companionship. Just someone to have dinner with or a movie.  Went on date with someone I've known for years, wanted more of a commitment and I didn't, so now I'm at the stage where being lonely for a companion has passed.  Now, when I get lonely I go next door ( they have the most wonderful loving dog they got at the shelter) and I give and get love from that beautiful animal.  Zero ( that's her name because she had nobody)will  sit by me and just petting her is so calming that when I leave I feel better.  Zero has been a blessing.  less

Being alone works for me.  I've been a widow for 7 years and have adjusted.  Being lonely is another story.
