In interviews and exchanges with reporters, Obama has diplomatically suggested that Trump’s learning curve is steep, but he has commended him as practical and not ideological.

What was once FDR country is now Trump country.

The recount business has not brought out the best in anybody, and in Trump it has brought out the worst: in a series of tweets, he alleged that millions of votes were fraudulent, enough to cost him the popular vote. But none of this is going to produce any change in the results of the election. This is not Al Gore losing Florida by fewer than 1,000 votes in 2000. Trump won Michigan by about 20,000 votes, Pennsylvania by 70,000, and Wisconsin by 30,000. And it is worth noting that Stein won enough votes in Michigan and Wisconsin to account for Clinton’s losses there. Her Wisconsin application lists a number of reasons for a recount, most of which are paraphrases of a single tho... less

In the crucial swing states of Florida and Ohio, Senators Marco Rubio and Rob Portman both doubled Trump's margin in their victories. Even more bad numbers to be considered are the GOP won 21 Senate seats to the Democrats' 12, took control of 33 governorships to the Dems' 15, and took 240 House seats to 194 that went Democratic. Republicans have won House control in four straight elections and 10 of the last 12 - regardless of the fate of their presidential nominees. All sobering numbers - right down to the grass roots. less

The Executive Branch should work separately from the legislative branch, so what if Trump decided he could fire his Secretary of State for one reason or other and try to force the Majority Leader to lead the vote in the senate---or fire his wife. This is just an example, but there could be other problems concerning his wife.

And we are told that it was Russians that leaked the emails that set Clinton back under investigation... at a time funny enough when it would most damage her campaign. . Why isnt anyone asking HOW the Russians got the emails in the first place.. IF they did.. if they didn't make it up....SO all this is puzzling me.. trying to understand it all and make sense of it... So just an idea, no accusations of course.. but I am finding it very strange - why do the Russians specifically want Trump.... why are they supporting him...will there be repercussions for America.... less
