Recent reports indicate much of the Olympic Villiage in Rio (where the athletes stay) has broken plumbing, sewage not draining properly, exposed electrical wiring, and other safety hazards.
There were similar reports from the Winter Olympics in Sochi in 2014.
It appears the demands of the Olympic Games are such that local governments can no longer afford to build the necessary facilities on time, within budget, and to a reasonable standard. I think it's probably time to pick two permanent locations for the games. What do you think? less
