I had an interview today.... it was challenging, which is good - I don't think I will get the position, (It's not a job but a placement for a course) but one of the questions they asked was about how do we recognise when we should hand something over to someone else... because they have more experience, because their style works better with the client, or because we are too emotionally involved... And I do think that's an area of weakness of mine.. that I always try to help people, that i go that extra mile, that I want to heal them, to soothe them to empower them to change their lives.. that sometimes I have to accept that they just don't want to or are just not ready to... less

I love how optimistic people are and how resilient we can be... but I think I am probably still right that sometimes there's no time to enjoy life when you are just concentrating on ducking to avoid shite :P I do also think it can be hard to understand how difficult life can be for others... to put ourselves in their shoes..
