Dr Smith was annoying af. I don't understand why no one in the Robinson family offed the guy, or at the very least, just leave him behind on one of the planets. I think the robot wanted to kill him but Will Robinson was a sorry sap, had too much of a conscience, and programmed the robot to do no harm to the old b*st*rd.
