Yes, I have a closet full of blue 'Dickies' work clothes. Some of those suckers are from the 80's. They are tough as nails. Sure they make me look like an old man, but I AM an old man!
My 'lawn' may be of several acres, but it is just mowed weeds. During summer, I run a riding mower over it when I mow. That thing must weigh 700 pounds, so a person couldn't hurt it by walking on it.
Sure, but it's never a coincidence. I carry a good memory of fabric, colour, texture and style. And I rarely follow fashion. I mostly go for loose, flowing, soft and comfortable: waist high pants with wide baggy legs, with a short or long-sleeved shirt or tunic. So slowly over the years, I've accumulated things that match. More often they harmonise. Linen is fairly standardised at light, medium and heavy. White is usually the same white. Creams are often perfect. If I can't find the right match or feel, I design, cut and sew it.
