Okay, I’m going to have to make a post about all the other Canadian kids shows I thought were only aired in Canada one day soon :) I really thought no one here would know that show, so now I’m curious about a few others :)
While we're at it, no one seems to know of an animated children's show called "Angela Anaconda." I watched it as an adult- it remains one of THE funniest TV shows I've ever seen.
Being reminded of Sharon, Lois and Bram, I got to thinking about Fred Penner's Place, which aired here in the early 90's, too. I'm betting he was also Canadian?
Grouper and Amberjack when I can have them here. The Back Porch in Destin, FL. I could not even count the number of times we ate here over the years. This place invented the grilled amberjack sandwich. They are still right on the beach but it's a great big place now. Still pretty good, but not the same.
If the original question still stands, and the writer hadn't intended to ask something like, what's your favourite Nematode, then my answer would be the Giant Manta, the gentle giant. Some appear to enjoy interacting with humans and respond to gentle caresses (just like Mavis, ho, ho).
