Yes, and I've also forgiven someone for something they DIDN'T do.  :  ( This post was edited by Art Lover at July 19, 2020 5:48 PM MDT

Wait, what?  What does forgiveness have to do with whether or not you’ve ever been in a mine?

    Do limestone quarries count?

Only the ones that are mines. Those that are not mines do not count as mines.

You didn’t specify only sub surface mines. So a quarry counts.

Like I stated above, if it’s a mine, it counts. If it’s not a mine, it doesn’t. All types of mines count.

There is a quarry nearby that has a reputation as a 'skinny dipping swim hole.'  BAM!

Yes. I was in a silver mine in, I believe, in Colorado. The tour guide had our group walk into the mine then he turned off all of the lights. I've never experienced such profound darkness before. Very interesting tour. :)

Not since I was young.  Back then we played in the old gold mines.

I worked in a mine in Manitoba for a few years on the 600 foot and 800 foot levals. Cheers!

Played out gold mines - as a guided tour. The entrance to old coal mines - these were blocked a few metres in to prevent anyone going further. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at July 20, 2020 11:51 PM MDT

I've been swimming in quarries my whole young life.  Truly the coldest water I've been been in.  We used to skip school and we would all meet at the quarries.

I think she means it is a miracle they survived to adulthood.

Every one of us.  Children are surrounded by danger and they skip through it, sometimes...almost always  unscathed, and sometimes they don't survive at all.

My wife and I made love under a waterfall once, to fulfil a long-held fantasy of mine. Fantasy didn't tell me how COLD it would be - early spring, the creek was fed by melted snow. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at July 20, 2020 11:47 PM MDT

And you managed to make love despite the well-known effect of cold water on the male? I am impressed!

It was absolutely the most aroused I have ever been, which is what made it possible.

I have been in a number of mines and underground stone quarries (which are often called that rather than "mines"), but as a visiting caver or tourist, not employee.
