Would you make use of your obituary as a confessional?

Val Patterson of Salt Lake City used his own 2012 obit as a confessional: "as it turns out I AM the guy who stole the safe from Motor View Drive Inn back in June 1971".

      Er, um, nope. I was way too young to have aided or abetted ol’ Val steal that safe from the Motor View Drive Inn in 1971. I didn’t join him until much later on other jobs.
