    FYI - the flu vaccine is just 40-60% effective. But, in general, with a flu shot, if you do get the flu, it will be a milder case.

    we all have to get a flu shot to prevent twindemic (covid 19 and a seasonal flu)

    Yes, although with the masks and the hand-washing, I assume my chances of getting it are even lower than usual.

    Nope. It's not broad spectrum, so they're only guessing which particular bug will bite you. Also with COVID-inspired social distancing measures still in place, I'm even less likely to be infected.

    i got mine two days ago for the first time in 15 years since I am pregnant and it’s recommended pregnant women get it. im kind of mad tho because it’s still sore and red and itchy

  • I haven't had a flu shot this year.  During normal times, I would get the flu shot in March or April, but that's when the lockdown began this year.  That's why I skipped it this year.  Flu season is now over, so I'll get a flu shot next year.  I'll get a COVID shot when it becomes available.
