    I guess we could say Haneke made it up. This 1997 Austrian movie (he later remade the movie in the English language) was the first film of Haneke's I saw. I've since watched many more of his films. He's a phenomenal director to me.

    His 1997 original "Funny Games" is THE most disturbing movie I've ever seen but also a masterpiece of film to me. Flawless for me, too.  :)
