Would you share with us a "Whippersnapper" song that you enjoy?

This would be the most contemporary song you can remember liking.

My offering is by the nephew of Robert Smith of The Cure and was released this year. I like it a lot!

Okay, yeah. I've heard that. I like it more than the other one. More singer/songwriterish.

Yeah, that's pretty catchy, good beat, lyrics aren't X-rated (OMG, I just got officially old this second). I like it.

I've heard of Post Malone, but not sure I've heard him. I'll listen to the other one you posted.

    Thanks for playing!

I really like several of The Weeknd's songs. This one is good, too. I like this whole 80's retro vibe he has going on on this album.

I'd never heard Ava Max before. I don't listen to much Top 40, though I do like some new music. I like Noah Cyrus, for example. More folky than dance-y, I guess.

    Thanks for sharing!

Ava Max and The Weeknd are my two favorite 20s artists.      I chose these two songs to post here because they’re both 2021 songs, so I thought that they best fit the spirit of this question.

    Very much appreciate it!

Some of the old folks around here need to give whippersnapper music a chance, if you know what I mean.
(Not mentioning any names, but specifically people obsessed with sandwiches, massage oils and tildes.)

Speaking of people who need to give things a chance . . .

    (The invitation remains open.)

You don't even like The Weeknd's new stuff? It's so WHAM!-ish!

It’s not that I like it or dislike it; I’ve never heard any of it, I’m not FAMILIAR with it.

Well, Livvie posted one that especially made me think of Wham!. It's there for the listening. You COULD become familiar if you so wished.

But I think you should just stick to your guns and not listen to something you might actually enjoy. You've heard enough enjoyable music in your life.

(I'm getting off your lawn, don't turn the hose on me!!)

I’ll try something different if you will too.  You COULD become familiar if you so wished.

Should we all take up a collection and buy you a blow-up doll, Randy? Or... you know... something??

I got only to the 0:07 mark in the video and stopped watching. Looks too moving to me at the moment.

    Maybe another day I'll watch.

    I've not heard this song.

(Even in those few seconds, it sounded like a Sheeran song I might actually like. The only Sheeran song I so far like is the very first song I heard from him --   the superlative-to-me "The A Team"- - everything else I've heard from him since then strikes me as trite. This song you posted looks like the caliber of "The A Team" to me. Sorry for going off on a tangent.)
