    Offer to give the person who bought your car all that extra gas you now have on hand in trade for your car. 
    Then get yourself a bike to ride when you run out of gas.

    When the auxiliary verb “have” is used as you have done so here, the past participle of the subject verb must be used. In this case, it is also a changing verb.
