You must be referring to mixing them up audibly as opposed to visually, right?  I think I’m only aware of two or three Eddie Rabbit songs, but maybe eight or ten Kenny Rogers songs. As such, I’m not sure I’ve ever found their voices similar to each other.

Loggins, not Rogers. More visually similar, but audibly to an extent, too.

Offhand, I don't know if I confuse them because I don't intently listen to either. :)
Though they both have good chops to me.

It was really more about their looks being similar at the time; to me at least. :)

    LOL!

Also, the names - Eddie Rabbit / Kenny Loggins. Double letters in both first and last names, and nearly the same number of letters in both names.

    I'm weird. Hehe.

My brain works that way, too! I get confused with little patterns like that at times, too!

    LYRICS:
You went to school to learn, girl
Things you never, never knew before
    Like "I" before "E" except after "C"
And why two plus two makes four, now, now, now
I'm gonna teach you (teach you, teach you)
All about love, dear (all about love)
Sit yourself down, take a seat
All you gotta do is repeat after me
    ABC
    Easy as one, two, three
Ah, simple as Do Re Mi
    ABC, one, two, three
    Baby, you and me, girl
    ABC
    Easy as, one, two, three
Ah, simple as Do Re Mi
    ABC, one, two, three
    Baby, you and me, girl
Come on, love and let me just a little bit
I'm-a gonna teach you how to sing it out
Come on, come on, come on, let me show you what it's all about
    Reading, writing, arithmetic
Are the branches of the learning tree
But listen without the roots of love everyday, girl
    Your education ain't complete
Tea-Tea-Teacher's gonna show you (show you, show you)
How to get an "A" (na-na-na-na-na-na)
How to spell "me" and "you" (you add the two)
Listen to me, baby, that's all you got to do
    Oh, ABC
It's easy as one, two, three
Ah, simple as Do Re Mi
    ABC, one, two, three
    Baby, you and me, girl
    ABC, it's easy
It's like counting up to three (one, two, three)
Sing a simple melody (Do-Re-Mi, ABC)
That's how easy love can be
That's how easy love can be
    Sing a simple melody
    One, two, three
    You and me!
    Sit down girl
    I think I love ya'
    No, get up, girl
Show me what you can do
Shake it, shake it baby, come on now
Shake it, shake it baby, ooh, ooh
Shake it, shake it baby, yeah
One, two, three, baby, ooh ooh
    ABC, baby, na, na
    Do Re Mi, baby, ow
That's how easy love can be
    ABC, it's easy
It's like counting up to three (one, two, three)
Sing a simple melody (Do-Re-Mi, ABC)
That's how easy love can be
I'm-a gonna teach you how to sing it out
    Come-a, come-a, come-a, let me show you what's it's all about
    ABC, it's easy
It's like counting up to three (one, two, three)
Sing a simple melody (Do-Re-Mi, ABC)
That's how easy love can be
I'm-a gonna teach you how to sing it out
Sing it out, sing it, sing it, sing it (Oh, oh, oh)
    ABC, it's easy
It's like counting up to three (one, two, three)
Sing a simple melody (Do-Re-Mi, ABC)
That's how easy love can be

But I would walk five hundred miles
And I would walk five hundred more
Just to be the man who walked a thousand miles
To fall down at your door

I know you're Scottish, but seriously? Nobody's cover gets close to the Proclaimers' original.

Yes! Icehouse, Icehouse, Icehouse! I didn't know Flowers was Icehouse, very different look going on then.  I like the above song more than Electric Blue, also.

I always wondered what the significance of those two numbers was, until somebody told me to multiply them. 12×35=420. Everybody must get stoned, it figures.
