Besides errors in punctuation and grammar, what are some common everyday mistakes people make?

Couple of days ago my friend fell from the kitchen counter where she was standing and needed an ambulance to attend to her. She is ok now but walking around on crutches.
Traumatized her poor cat too; cat did not know what to do.

    Key word for me, "sometimes."

And I've posted this numerous times but a friend shared this with me  -- it helps me on those "sometimes"-type of days.

To have the mistaken belief that everyone else is a hypocrite but never one's self.

I believe we're all hypocrites of one kind or another.

Thinking that Vegemite, avocados, mayonnaise, squash, okra, beets, and watercress are supposed to be consumed by humans.

Not having a large collection of tildes, and failing to install a deluxe heavy-duty, fireproof, waterproof, airtight and earthquake-proof Tlide Vault in their residences.

The list of sandwich-related mistakes is far too large for me to post here; suffice it to say that they exist. It would depress me to think about it further. I have to go.
