What is the funniest way you have or could have ever broken the law?

I once "assaulted" a police vehicle.
I lit a "Saturn battery" on the 4th of July, right as a police car turned onto the street ... and then I accidentally knocked over the fireworks as I backed away, and they shot at the police car.
Thankfully, the officers thought it was humorous and just gave us kids a warning.

Listen, I thought I had already been cleared on the investigation into how I came across the inventory of my Tilde Vaults! You’re working for the District Attorney, aren’t you? This is malicious prosecution, just you wait until I call my legal team! Grrrrrrr.

I mooned a police car once. I was drunk enough to accept a dare to moon the next car that came past - and it just happened to be a cop car.

You are only Breaking the Law if you get caught.

When I was in the pot biz I only grew on Crown land (land that was owned by the BC goverment). I had worked hard at inproving my spots for 10 years so when I decided to retire I figured I shoud get something for then and sold them to a friend. I always thought it was pretty funny selling land that didn't belong to me. Cheers!

That's not really  breaking the law, is it?

I know, right?  It classifies more as an accident.

I believe I did get a ticket for my accident.

I was quasi-familiar with the road but I thought I was on a different part of the road and I was driving too fast and failed to see the sign saying "Bridge Ahead -- 25 mph" or something like that - - and the road veered sharply to the left DIRECTLY after the very small bridge - - as in a 90-degree turn - - I was going about 60mph when I arrived at the bridge and knew I had no way of making that turn and I went barreling straight off the road, straight into the air and landed 40 feet below in a corn field.

If I got a ticket, I figured it counted as breaking the law.

Maybe I didn't get a ticket? I actually don't remember for sure but the car was ruined. I and the car landed intact - - much like Dorothy and her house landed in OZ - - but the car was declared totaled.
    :)

Yeah, it was, I guess! And it all happened in the total of about 12 seconds. Ha.

Intact isn’t totaled and totaled isn’t intact.

    Yeah, you're right.
I could have been more accurate in my word choice.
The car was indeed declared totaled - it's just that, based on only "looking" at car, one wouldn't have known the damage. All of the extensive damage was on the "insides" of the engine and below, etc. From the "outside," the car looked intact. And I "landed" without any injury.
