Have you ever been stung by a bee?

Only once.
My brother and I were shoving each other, horsing around in the back yard ... and I fell on a bee, and it stung me.
I still blame my brother for that.

I was stung by a wasp under the chin when I was quite young. We were out in the bushes picking blueberries.

3 times that i remember.

 

 Yes, multiple stings by a swarm when I was about 3 or 4 years old.

I have never been stung by a bee.

I was stung in the head years ago.

No, but my mom was stung by a swarm when she was hanging laundry.  My dad came hoe to find her on the kitchen floor unconscious and she had to go to the emergency room.  That was the first she knew she was allergic.  They said had it been only one or two stings, she would have been ok, but with so many, she was overwhelmed.

By a honey bee, yes; 3 or 4 times.  But only because I stepped on her.  Honey bees won't attack or bother humans unless they bother them first.  

I've been stung numerous times by meat bees (and oh, do they ever hurt!!). Never step in a nest of meat bees.

Yes, countless times probably (or, at least, often enough that I don't have strong memories of each bite). 
My most recent was just about three weeks ago while mowing the yard.

Yes, several times. 

Twice. Both times landed me in the ER, I'm allergic.

Twice, on separate occasions, but by wasps, not bees.

Fortunately I'm not allergic to them (I found!). In both cases it was my fault. I had tried to brush them away from my face and accidentally trapped them.

Thank you very much RJ. I read your sad tale and my now tears have shrunk my shirt so tight on me I can't get it off. I'm sure there is a bee in there too, and it can't get out either.
