If you had to drive for a living, what kind of vehicle would you drive and why?

I would drive an ambulance so I could go fast and make everyone get out of my way.

I think I would love to be paid to drive an Edsel . . .

simply because I love the way they look.

    My dream car.

Whenever I see one, they almost take my breath away -  always have, ever since I was a kid (not a baby goat kind of kid).

      Shouldn’t that be “Me either”?

After the day I've had, I'm happy to find my fingers, and to feed my face, let alone correctly type.

    I assume you're correct, though.  :)

He wrote: “I never understood why it was so unpopular.”

The fact that his sentence contains and is predicated upon a word of negation (in this case, the word “never”), for you to express agreement with his statement and including yourself in his point, your phrase must be an exclusionary one. However, by stating “Me, too”, you have used an inclusionary phrase, which would only be appropriate if he had written “I always understood why it was so unpopular.”

I think I get it. But probably not really, at the moment. Swamped with a lot of stuff lately.
    But thanks!

Introduced during a recession which had a catastrophic effect on the price of mid-range cars, perceived as over-hyped and underpowered for its weight, and it did have reliability issues. Ford's losses were staggering, so they cut it after only 3 years. Now spare parts are a problem. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at October 22, 2021 9:45 AM MDT

Many people did not like the appearance of the front end; it kind of looks like a vagina.

Their looking like a vagina is certainly not a reason I like Edsels so well.

I remember when the Edsel came out.  It was a common joke about how you could not tell which end was the front. It was laughed right out of production. At the time I thought it was the ugliest car ever, now I look at it and it is a rare beauty to me.

Yeah, I've heard many people find them ugly.
I've always liked how they look.
Interesting that you've changed your mind about its appearance.

A U.S. navy missile destroyer just like that was seen on the Strait of Georgia off Vancouver Island last week while it was on manoeuvres - it was the USS Micheal Monson . Cheers!
