When did you last have to say goodbye to a beloved pet?
Our German shepherd had a major seizure this week and had to be euthanised. Vet says it was most likely a stroke or tumour in his brain. 17 years is a ridiculously long innings for the breed, but it still hurts.
I’m sorry for your loss. The last time I had to say goodbye was this last May. One of my cats died. It’s always hard. I give my pets lots of love. I just hope my cats are happy every day they have to sit on my lap and purr and I hope my dogs are happy every day they have for me to take them out for a walk.
I have sympathy for you. I still miss my dog. He was only nine years old when he died on 24 January 2007. His name was Oro. He was a Golden Retriever. He was bitten by a poisonous snake, but by the time we brought him to the veterinarian it was too late. I thought it shouldn't have happened because the snake that bit my dog wasn't supposed to be so far south of its habitat.
