What are you tired of?

I am tired of having to get dressed for winter weather every time I want to go outside.

    Worrying about my Granddaughter.  If I had the resources I'd get her off the street and into rehab, if I had to drag her there.

    She needs someone with resources to care about hers.  The are plenty of people who care but can only give advice. If she had the ability to help herself she would not be where she is.

    I'm sure there are.  Convincing her to go there is an entirely different matter.  Support while she is there is also important.

    As with any addition, if the person is not willing to admit they have a problem and wants to be helped, there isn't much you can do.  I'm truly sorry about this.

    Well under different circumstances with resources, I could do something. I heard from her today She needs to have her son and be plucked out of the circumstances she is in and live in a safe far away place with options for a better life as in furthering her education.       In my opinion, it's not the actual government (Constitutional Republic) that's dysfunctional. The people running it are the dysfunctional ones. Let us not forget the people who voted and continue to vote these dysfunctional people into office. Many of us belong on that dysfunctional list as well.

    Can't argue with you on that.  Maybe if we actually had decent people permitted to run for office instead of those who get the biggest war chests, we might go back to having the country run as it was meant to be run.

    EDIT:  As for those of us who vote for those dysfunctional candidates, you're right, but we can only vote for those who are on the ballot.  Yes, there is a write-in option, but I have never been able to get Kermit the Frog or Miss Piggy elected.       There are several things I'm tired of but I'll stick with one. And that's the way some people idolize and admire celebrities. These celebrities can be singers, actors, reality show participants, tv presenters, athletes, and even politicians. Many people give them God-like stature and put them on pedestals.  They become the gods of present-day humanity. Of course, because they are famous and "god-like", some people seem to think they somehow have more expertise in pretty much anything and everything they talk about and are smarter than anyone else. That's my rant and opinion on the subject. :)
