    Settle, Skyla!
She's a Staffordshire terrier we got as a rescue, too old to train properly and as a result she never really got out of puppyhood. 70 lbs is too big to be a lap dog but she doesn't understand that, and she also gets overexcited ALL the time. She's the most affectionate pet I've ever owned, but the breed isn't known for being particularly intelligent and Skyla is dumb for a Staffy.

Cat #1 - "Get off the table!"  (which is then followed by lengthy argument).
Cat # 2 (who is stone deaf) - "move over"  (he lays either on top of me or tight up against my side a night for warmth).

Besides her name, I can address her as cat, pussycat, mischief or rascal. Then there are the commands Down!, Sit!, Wait! and Beg!

Well I'm giving my cat the silent treatment right now because she messed up the bulbs on my Christmas tree. With my dog it is usally a verbal that's a good boy or a thumbs up which is sign language for that's a good boy. Cheers!
