Hanging, beheading or firing squad but not electric chair. Lethal injection would be too boring.

A beheading would be fun to watch.

Yeah I think so, that's the only execution where we get to see Lotsa blood flow.
Oh, I don't think I would be inclined to cheer.

  • No, but I think if there are to be executions, they should be public. It would be the true test of people's comfortability with them.

If it was Donald Trump facing a firing squad for committing treason well he was Commander and chief I would. I probably wouldn't  cheer but I would shout out BANG a few times to watch him squirm Cheers and happy holidays! This post was edited by Nanoose at December 25, 2021 5:30 AM MST

When he was doing the trade talks with Canada and Mexico he tried to make it so Canadian TV stations didn't have to legally air Canadian programs (they have to air 40% Canadian made programmes. If he had been successful we - nay the World would have lost quality Canadian programs like The Trailer Park Boys so we really dislike him for that. Cheers and happy holidays!

Why would anyone cheer such a thing?

No way.  I listened to the audio of a botched electrocution in Georgia.  I was mortified and cried on and off for days.  I am not a proponent of the death penalty.

I'm not going to discuss that here.

No and no. I'm opposed to the death penalty, a jury can get it wrong. Rubin "Hurricane" Carter was convicted of a murder he didn't commit. The last man executed in Australia, Ronald Ryan, was also innocent of the murder he was hanged for - although it could be argued that had he not been escaping legal custody while armed, the prison warden who died in that escape wouldn't have. Friendly fire killed that warden, the gun Ryan was armed with had a cartridge jammed in the breech and couldn't have been fired even if Ryan had wanted to.
