There’s snow on the ground, but we’re under high pressure so it’s going to be clear and really cold with no chance of snow at all. It’s 5°F now and it’s supposed to be -19°F tomorrow morning when it’s time to get up. Brrr!
Just to clarify, you're saying that there is no proper use of the word 'forecasted'?
I'm still not buying it, Stu. And it appears on grammarist.com that forecasted is completely acceptable, as are SOME other 'cast' verbs. But not typecasted.
There's no chance until June. The best chance for snow is in June, July or August. Even then, there will be little chance for snow. Since the National Meteorological Service began keeping records in 1906, there have only been two or three snowfalls. Our last snowfall was 9 July 2007. The last snowfall before that was in July 1928, but no snow stuck to the ground. The last snow before that was in June 1918. We're too far north and too close to the ocean to have regular snowfall, but we still have frost and freezing temperatures around sunrise in June, July and August. Sometimes, I still must scrape the frost from my windshield before I go to work in the morning.
I remember seeing on the news that a city in southern Argentina had snow in January. I think it happened in Río Grande, Tierra del Fuego. That was bizarre, even though the snow melted when it hit the ground.
None in the near forecast, We had about 8 inches last week and there's still a bit around because it's been so cold. We're getting warmer each day and tomorrow is supposed to be near 50 F. so some will melt.

We have a lot of grassy areas around out development, so there's still a lot of snow on them. Also, there hasn't been any alternate parking, so there's still snow along the curbs. The crosswalks and sidewalks have been sufficiently cleared and the temp is supposed to be near 50 tomorrow, which will hep, too. A good rain would also come in handy. :)
