It was three years ago or more.  The weird thing about COVID-19 is that since it started, neither my husband nor I have been sick with anything, not even a regular cold or flu.

Currently just 1 day. We will see if it lasts longer.

Jan 2019, I was sick for about 3 weeks, 8 of those days I was in the hospital with sepsis.

It was in 2013 I think.  I had a horrible cold which just would not go away.  I felt awful for about a week and then coughed for another couple of weeks.

A while back I was sick for several days.  I tested negative for Covid.  I'm in pain daily from ongoing bone problems.

Just before the pandemic. I had a cold but it was one that was very different from all of the others I've had. In any case, I recovered after a couple of weeks.

A truckload of avocados overturned on the highway about three miles from my house last week. I was not anywhere near it, I just heard about it on the radio. It left my practically comatose for two and a half days.

Thank goodness it wasn't a truckload of cherries.  That'd be the pits.

Of course, had it been a truckload of lettuce you might have gotten ahead.

Or a truckload full of carats; it would have been worth its weight in gold.

Or a truckload full of onions; a loss like that would bring tears to your eyes.

Or a truckload full of live guppies; those rascally little swimmers would get everywhere!

Or a truckload full of lawyers; they’d turn the place into Sioux City.

Or a truckload full of corn; it would get really creamed.

Or a truckload full of encyclopedias; the word would get out.

Or a truckload full of sandwiches; it’s enough to make a grown man cry.
