The Exorcist and The Birds. I hardly watch movies very often, The Birds would be my prime choice for favorite movie.

I used to watch Paranormal State on A&E and My Haunted House on The Travel Channel but now I only catch some Facebook videos by the blogger Chills occasionally.

Oh, and Bewitched and I Dream Of Jeannie eons ago!

One thing I "learned" from the days when I used to peruse them is that spirts/apparitions are all camera shy.  I noticed how whenever one of the crew exclaimed he/she saw something "over there", no sooner than the cameraman points his camera in said direction than the "entity" conveniently moves off camera, out of frame or behind some advantageously placed opaque object.

And everything is in green light. What's up with that?

I just consulted a professional photographer; he says that green is the preferred hue if one really wants to capture ectoplasm!  It makes spirits really radiant!

Eh, not really.  They all appear staged to me, always in a dark room.

Candles are nice, or soft indirect lighting.

They were having electrical trouble and the lights went out.  Some fool lit the 3 candles on the table and started a fire.

  • I watched Paranormal sometimes. I enjoyed it but it aired on Fridays at 23:00. That's a bad night and time for TV shows because if I'm not at work, I'm out with my friends.

    *spoiler alert*

    They never catch the ghost.

The director: “Okay, you’re going to wander off and go down the hall.  Just wait in that room, count one one thousand, two one thousand… Then, run down the hall screaming.  Got it?”

    lol

Yup, and don't forget, "Use a cheap, obsolete tape recorder to record dead air then, should any random sound(s) occur, before anyone in the audience has a chance to hear it clearly and draw their own conclusion, yell, 'DID YOU HEAR THAT?!?!?  IT SAID, 'HELP ME!'!!!'"

lol. I’m planning on going ghost hunting, UFO hunting and Bigfoot hunting.  What’s the best video equipment I can get for that?

Also, we can't forget the instances where the ghost hunters explore a 15th century Moldavian castle however, the "entity" speaks English, and not even Elizabethan English but modern/contemporary English!
